Hello Readers!!
I hope you have tons of fun this Diwali and are excited to brighten your life more this coming year.
Let’s Begin 🚀
The Goal Setting
The year 2018 was pretty tough for me. I was very ambitious and want to experiment a lot but when I stepped out of my comfort zone to actually do it, I faced a lot of rejection, I didn’t have a direction or something to measure my progress.
All the confusion, the feeling of not being enough, and amateur at everything got me to stop and consider what I was doing wrong.
I know you all might have felt the same at some point in life where everything seems to go downhill and nothing works, even though you are making efforts.
At that point, I realized that the goals I have written are simply not sufficient to get me where I wanted to be. This realization led me to research how I can move forward in the right direction and make sure I achieve what I aspire for.

Around Christmas eve ‘18, I sat down and wrote 3 things in my journal that I wanted to work on applying the concept of S M A R T goal.
Result: I traveled to various cities, created social impact through working with various organizations, had my first international trip to Egypt as the youngest Indian delegate at WYF’19, and met the president of Egypt.
Never imagined that straightening my life could reap such awesome results.
The SMART goals
This approach of the SMART goal not only works for personal goal setting but teams and work too.
I have experimented with it a lot and the results have been amazing.

GRIT - Talent v/s Effort
I have been reading this book by Angel Duckworth - Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance. We all have heard that some people are gifted or lucky or they are born with talent or some natural ability but it isn’t true. We all can achieve what we desire through grit. The external factors do play a major role but it all comes to one thing- our faith must be bigger than our fears.
P.S: Some people have talent but no grit. 👀
